Description
The famous shield wielded by Athena and Zeus. Similar to the gods who carry it, it is an immortal item. It has survived countless battles without being damaged. Gods claim that when the shield is shaken by an Olympian, great storms swirl into the sky and many men are struck down with fear.
"A hundred tassels of pure gold hang fluttering from it, tight-woven each of them, and each the worth of a hundred oxen."
