Shirt of Nessus
Title
Shirt of Nessus
Subject
Apparel
Description
It is not advised that anyone wear this sinister clothing, for it is laced with poison. It was once dipped in the blood of Nessus, a centaur. His blood was tainted and did not bode well for the skin it came into contact with. In fact, this is the very shirt that brought the great hero, Heracles, to his final demise.
A source of misfortune from which there is no escape; a fatal present.
