Description
An account of the resource
When the Crofts moved into Kellynch Hall, they change very little about the estate, but they admit to Anne that Admiral Croft did remove several large looking classes from his dressing room. The mirrors are symbolic of the Elliot’s (especially Sir Walter’s) vanity and pride in their appearances. The act of removing the mirrors illustrates the practicality of the Crofts. Admiral Croft ops for just a small useful shaving mirror.

An account of the resource
When dealing with incredibly dangerous Slake Moths, Mirror Helmets are a necessity. Slake Moth are giant moth-like creatures with hypnotically beautiful wings, and they exist in multiple dimensions at the same time. A Slake Moth feeds by mesmerizing it pray and sucking out it conscious mind through a proboscis tongue. The wastes the Slake Moths produce from feeding on sentient life causes nightmares in nearby populations. While still incredibly terrorfying, Slake Moths cannot mesmerize you if you look at them through a mirror. The New Crobuzon government created their own special mirror helmets for handling the the creatures in their underground laboratories.<br /><br /><em>"During the Summer of Nightmares in Crobuzon, mirror helmets were Isaac Dan der Grimnebulin and the governments most effective weapon against the Slack Moth plague." </em>
