War's Red Horse
Title
War's Red Horse
Description
The horseman of War, as told in the story of Revelations, rides upon a red horse. The color red is associated with war in many mythologies - one example being the Celtic goddess Morrigan, the goddess of war.
Along with the similarities in other mythologies, red is also very commonly associated with blood, which is a result of war and also ties in with death.
Horses can often be seen as messengers, something that War and his fellow other horsemen bring with them on appearance alone. The red horse is part one of four that carries the message of the end of days.
